Passwords may be changed at any time, but you must change your password every 210 days. When your password is near expiration, you’ll be reminded to set up a new password when you log in to most online services. In addition, you can always change your password by logging in at myidentity.ku.edu.

Never share your password with anyone. KU IT will never ask you to share your password with us. You own your academic identity and sharing your password could compromise your privacy. You can designate delegates to access information you want to share including the ability to pay bills. See registrar.ku.edu/delegate for more information.

When you set up your online ID you are asked to set up security questions. Snap a picture of your challenge questions so that if you forget your password, you can recover it on your own. If you can’t recover your password, contact the KU IT CSC.
